And you guys are acting like this was a act of terrorism, take symbols and worship them, why weren't all those great patriots looking at the **** flag like they're supposed to be? Give me a break, the anthem thing has nothing to do with it, wow. I'd bet it was done during that time because everyone is SUPPOSED to be looking away. It was dumb, give the kid a break, he was suspended like he should have been...not hanged from the highest tree for treason.

I do not believe in any shape, form,or fashion that the kid should go to juvie. As far as damaged by this? A person has a right to not see that (it's not like accidentally walking up on a man taking a whizz in the woods). The anthem thing is what made it worse R13,and you are right R13-it was dumb (just like the kids from JJK were when they participated in THE VERY MINOR PIDDLY LITTLE SHOVING MATCHES -trying Biggin's approach here)

Of course and he shouldn't have done it, no one has said it was the least bit acceptable. It's not something horrible though, it's immature as it gets, but pretty minor. I don't think the anthem makes it worse, I don't take it that seriously, sorry but it's one of a million symbols that are taken to seriously. And if you look around during it, you'll see half of everyone else being "disrespectful" too.

This is pretty funny when you think about, some kid whipping his johnson out in front of a whole crowd of people. LMAO. It should go without saying, he had balls.

Its not a tradition per se, just something that happens every few years. Its not the first time its happened, not the second time, but it has happened a couple times before, but its not a every game tradition nor a every year thing, its just something that some of the baseball guys do once in a blue moon.

I hope that explains it better, its not like touching a sign for good luck.

To begin with, I never said to send him to juvy, all I said was that if it happened, then let the po-po take care of it. As I tried to explain in a p.m. to someone, it's not that fact that he did it, but the fact that he did it during the national anthem. To me and(yes, to most everyone else) it shows a total disrespect to the flag, and to everything that it stands for.

    Re: PV Baseball

The flag is a piece of cloth, that's it, what it does stand for is the right to do whatever the hell you want to with it and other rights just like it. It really stands for whatever you want it to, good or bad, we hold a symbol as something sacred...when it's the actual heroes that should be honored, not some song or piece of cloth.

It's the fact that he did it, if he had done it during after, would it be anymore okay? No, of course not. He did it because all the great patriots were supposed to be "showing their respect", but obviously we have some commies in the stands that were looking at this kids pecker.

So, since centennialdawg fought for this country, does he not deserve to be p!ssed off about what he done during the national anthem, something he fought for?

Kind of hard to look at the flag when some kid pulls his pecker out!

And yes the American flag is sacred to many. I have mixed feeling about the US flag myself due to my Native American Ancestry. One way I look at it is like the blacks look at the Confederate flag. The blacks thought they had it bad. Dont recall ever reading where Confederate soldiers wore the wombs of black women on their hats. I have read about US soldiers wearing the wombs of indians on their hats while waving the US flag parading through towns. I was watching CNN awhile back and one of the black reporters said that the Confederates were Terrorists and the Confederate flag stood for terrorism. He fails to realize that most Natives think the same thing of the US flag. 1977homelandsecurity

With all that said I unlike others do not blame the flag for that part of history. The flag to me is about those that fight now to keep what little freedom we have left. The flag is about those that have lost their lives for us. So I dont care if the kid was seen by 1 person, 1,000 people, or if no one saw him. It was wrong and when he ****ed during the anthem I feel like he was ****ing not on the mound but in the faces of our living heroes and on the graves of those that lost their lives for that piece of cloth. I have two great flags(symbols) in my life. One being the US Flag. The other is the flag of the Eastern Band of Cherokees.
